Originally from the Bay Area of California, Brodie Perry moved to St.
George, Utah in 1996. Shortly after moving to Utah he discovered his
passion for music. In 1997 he was approached by Michael Ballam, founder

Brodie Perry and Seth Riggs Speech Level Singing™
In 2006, Brodie found the Speech Level Singing™ (SLS) technique and
studied with Jeffrey Skouson in Las Vegas. In 2007, Brodie and his
wife moved to the L.A./Orange County area to study voice with Seth
Riggs in Hollywood. Seth Riggs is the founder and creator of the Speech
Level Singing™ technique and voice teacher of over 120 Grammy and Tony
award winners, celebrities and opera stars. Brodie has taught voice for
several years, but has now become officially certified as an SLS
instructor himself. He is a firm believer in this techniques ability to
make singing less strenuous and confining." The proof is in the
results. It freed and opened up an entire range (one full octave) of
music to my repertoire. I had no idea that singing wasn't supposed to
be so physically draining. I have spent years yelling and straining and
never knowing if that high note is going to come out or not. Now I can
sing all day without being tired, where before I would be exhausted
after a one hour lesson." Brodie and his family have recently returned
to Southern Utah where he is teaching and sharing the SLS
technique full time in his studio. He also is a proud member of Actors
Equity and still performs professionally.
